Fundamentalism as embodied by the militia group Boko Haram, is a growing regional security challenge that threatens the cohesiveness of the affected states and the security of entire region. This book therefore makes the case for a regional approach in addressing the menace that Boko Haram foot soldiers represents. Such a strategy must be a combination of military and non-military tools that make for a comprehensive response.
