Moving between the Congo, Belgium and Switzerland, she tells us, without holding back, a painful epic that involves a mother who was absent from her life and a father with a complex personality. She gives us a tough but fair account of the difficult but necessary path of reconciliation with this part of the shadow of her existence. But also the rebirth and the hope that she has been able to generate thanks to essential and significant encounters in her life. All this without ever departing from her humour and sense of irony that are a part of her personality. A great lesson in persistence and courage.
