Le Livre en Papier is the free self-publishing solution for books

Initially developed in 2016 as a brand by the book-specialized printing company European Graphics, and in response to the growing enthusiasm of its users, Le Livre en Papier became a standalone company in 2017.
Since the end of 2018, Le Livre en Papier has also been established in France (Var).

Constant growth
In 2018, Le Livre en Papier’s catalog reached 700 titles.
In 2019, it contained more than 1,100 titles.
In 2020, four years after its creation, the catalog of Le Livre en Papier surpassed 1,600 published titles.
In 2023, it included more than 3,000 titles published by authors from 5 continents!

Going against industrial choices that have become all too common, and thanks to modern, high-performance equipment, we chose to develop a service in line with our values: promoting culture while respecting the environment.

Promoting culture

Culture is a precious asset, too often neglected due to a lack of resources. We therefore created a service that allows every author—whether a writer, painter, photographer, illustrator, comic book artist, etc.—to publish a book and showcase their talent without any financial investment required on their part.
With Le Livre en Papier, anyone can now publish a book (novel, art book, exhibition catalog, etc.) and distribute it worldwide. There is no obligation to invest money in the process. Each author/publisher is free to publish a book through our platform and benefit from sales without taking any financial risk.

Respecting the environment

Thanks to modern, high-performance equipment, we can print each book individually with the same level of quality. This means that no mass production of books is sent to be destroyed. Moreover, all book printing is carried out using eco-friendly paper in the same workshop in Belgium (Strépy-Bracquegnies). The ecological impact of each book printed through our self-publishing service is therefore reduced to an absolute minimum.
